The purpose of the IP industry is not creating IP products. The purpose of the industry is in creating systems, services and marketplaces that empower people to build intellectual product and enable conversations on that product. The outcome of these new services is the new product and it now belongs to the people. It's called culture.

David Byrne's Bike Racks

Just stumbled on this Wall Street Journal interview from David Byrne from July 2008. Mostly filmed as they ride 6 miles across town from his studio to his fabricator and poweder coater.

I always find it interesting that David does commute regularly by bike, even when on tour.

Cool piece! Not only David Byrne bikes, he has a blog where he writes (extremely well) about light and serious subjects, incl. life on tour, contemporary art, politics and biking... Recommended!
